What Does This Module Do?
This module sends employees their payslips by email as password-protected PDFs, directly from Odoo. Employees need their payslips periodically, and normally HR sends each one out manually; this automates that while keeping the documents private by encrypting them before sending. You can send in bulk – select the payslips you want and click ‘Send via mail’, and a popup lists the selected employees’ payslips so you can review them and remove any you don’t want to send before dispatching them all at once – or send a single payslip straight from its own form while you’re working on it. Each mail goes to the employee’s work email address with a proper subject and body, and the attached payslip is a password-protected PDF that only the right employee can open.

How This Module Works in Practice
Setup needs no technical knowledge and no configuration – just install it. To send in bulk, select the payslips you want from the list and click ‘Send via mail’; a popup shows the selected employees’ payslips so you can review and drop any you’d rather not send, then a final click sends them all instantly. To send just one, use the ‘Send via mail’ action on that payslip’s form. Each employee receives a mail at their work address with a proper subject and body and their payslip attached as a password-protected PDF. The password follows a simple rule: the first four characters of the employee’s name plus the last four characters of their identification number – for example, name “Turkesh” with ID “TPA151590” gives the password “Turk1590”. If no ID has been submitted, the last part defaults to “odoo” (so “Turkodoo”), so employees always know how to open their own payslip.
