Hijri Calender

The Hijri calendar (or Islamic calendar) is a purely lunar calendar. It contains 12 months that are based on the motion of the moon, and because 12 synodic months is only 12 x 29.53=354.36 days, the Islamic calendar is consistently shorter than a tropical year.

The calendar is based on the Qur'an (Sura IX, 36-37) and its proper observance is a sacred duty for Muslims.

The Hijri(Islamic) calendar is the official calendar in countries around the Gulf, especially Saudi Arabia. But other Muslim countries use the Gregorian calendar for civil purposes and only turn to the Islamic calendar for religious purposes.

Start with the customer – find out what they want and give it to them.

Date Picker on Form View.

This module will show another input below date input and in that it will show date converted to Hijri.

This ca be very usefull for the users who waant tyo use both hijri and Normal Odoo dates.

When you select any date on Normal odoo field it will instantly change value in hijri and vice versa.

Date Picker on Form View.

In our module we have integrated time picker also with hijri datepicker. It will show automatically time picker if field type is date time.

Once you set date time in odoo field it will show date in hijri and time in seprate input box where you can set time and that time will be reflected instantaly on the odoo field and viceversa.
